Is the Halloween competition really free?

Yes. Entry is free, with no card, purchase, or deposit required. Create a Pipster account and enrol from the Competitions tab in your dashboard.

When is my competition account generated?

Account generation begins at 21:00 UTC on Sunday 18 October 2026. Your login details will be sent to the email address registered to your Pipster account.

What happens if I win?

The top 10 eligible traders receive a 1-phase challenge account in the prize tier shown above. Pass that challenge to unlock a funded account. The challenge itself costs you nothing.

Is there a limit on payouts from a prize account?

Yes. Funded accounts unlocked from $1K competition prizes have a 12% payout capacity. All other prize-account sizes have a 6% capacity. Capacity is the cumulative amount that can be paid from that account, not a limit on each withdrawal.

How are winners decided?

Eligible traders are ranked by percentage return at 21:00 UTC on Friday 30 October. You must remain within both drawdown limits and meet the minimum-days and P&L-concentration requirements.

Why strictly one account per person?

Multiple accounts let traders take asymmetric risks and keep only the best result. That is not a fair competition, so one account per person is strictly enforced.

Do I need trading experience?

No. The competition is open to every experience level. You trade simulated capital under live market conditions, so there is no financial risk, but the competition rules still apply.

Which strategies are prohibited?

The competition follows Pipster’s standard trading rules. Review the full rules and prohibited-strategy guidance before trading so your result remains prize-eligible.

Daily drawdown

Your maximum loss in any single trading day is 5% of your account balance. Breach the limit and your run ends.

No single day may account for more than 75% of your total net P&L. Prizes reward consistent performance, not one lucky night.
