Delete your Pipster account and data
This page explains how to request deletion of your account and data associated with Pipster (published by Pipster), covering both the Pipster mobile app and the pipster.io website.
How to request deletion
Follow the steps below. You don't need to be signed in to submit the request.
- Open your email client and compose a message to support@pipster.io. Send from the email address registered on your Pipster account so we can verify ownership.
- Use this subject line: Account deletion request.
- Include in the body:
- The email address registered on your Pipster account
- A short note confirming you want the account and data deleted
- We'll confirm within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
Data that will be deleted
When your request is actioned, the following data is permanently deleted from Pipster systems:
- Account profile — name, email address, user ID, country, profile preferences
- Authentication records — Cognito user record, magic-link history, session tokens
- Academy data — pathway progress, lesson completion, quiz scores, certificates earned
- App activity — in-app interactions, notification preferences
- Device identifiers — push notification tokens used for the mobile app
- Trading account links — the mapping between your Pipster account and any trading accounts (the trading platform itself is a separate service)
- Marketing contacts — newsletter subscriptions, mailing lists
Data that must be retained
Some data must be kept to meet legal, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations. These records are stored in restricted systems, are not used for any other purpose, and are deleted once the retention period ends.

Delete specific data only
You don't have to close your account to remove some of your data. You can request deletion of just part of it — for example:
- Marketing contact details and newsletter subscriptions
- Academy progress, quiz scores, and certificates
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- Support correspondence history
Email support@pipster.io from your registered address with the subject Partial data deletion request and list the items you want removed. We'll confirm within 3 business days and complete the request within 30 days. Your account stays active.
Linked trading accounts
If you have active trading accounts or unpaid obligations at the time of your request, we'll resolve those before completing deletion. You'll be notified by email if anything is outstanding.
