Are Pipster competitions really free to enter?

Yes. Every Pipster competition is free to enter: no entry fee, no card details, no deposit. We are a prop firm that funds talented traders, and competitions are how we find them. The traders who perform well are exactly the people we want to back with real capital.

How often does Pipster run trading competitions?

We run competitions throughout the year. Five seasons are scheduled for 2026: Rise of the Pipsters in spring, The Pipster Cup in summer, Back to School in September, Pipster Halloween in October, and Pipster Movember in November. Join the mailing list on this page and we will tell you when each competition opens.

Prizes are funded and challenge trading accounts, with top prizes up to a $100K account. Exact prize structures vary by competition and are published on each competition page before enrolment opens.

Do I need trading experience to enter?

No. Competitions are open to everyone, from complete beginners to experienced traders. You trade a demo account with simulated capital under live market conditions, so there is zero financial risk at any experience level.

How are winners decided?

Every competition publishes its rules up front. Traders are typically ranked by return over the competition period, with real prop-style risk limits: breach the daily or maximum drawdown and you are eliminated. One entry per person, strictly enforced.

How do I enter a Pipster competition?

When registrations are open, create a free Pipster account, then open the Competitions tab in your dashboard and click Enrol. Check the current competition card on this page for its latest registration status.

Enrol in the open competition

Log in to your dashboard, go to Competitions, and enrol while enrolment is open. When the competition starts, tap "Join / Get my account" to create your trading account, then "Open Trading Platform" to start — you are signed in automatically, with no credentials to wait for or enter.
